The predictions for definite periods are based on the “annual” or progressed horoscope, which is unlike Natal horoscope. The natal chart depicts positions of different planets at the time of your birth whereas the annual or progressed horoscope depicts the position of planets for the time of commencement of anniversary. The results are predicted based on the Muntha house, position of varsheeswara and the position of various planets in the yearly horoscope, varshapal sahams, tajaka yogas, patyayini dasa, etc.
The method used for prediction of events of immediate importance is called the “Tajaka” system. In the annual horoscope a link is established with the natal horoscope by an actual mathematical point known as “Muntha”. The “New Year” or anniversary commences at the moment Sun “comes back” to the place where Sun was at the time of birth. Since Sun comes back to the same point where he was at the time of birth on the birth date, based on the progressed horoscope the results for the one year period till next birth date can be predicted. The present report covers the period from now till next birth date.
